Our Pastor
Reverend Albert Jones, Jr.
Rev. Albert Jones Jr. was born in Sumter, South Carolina on Shaw Air Force Base. Born into a military family, they were relocated to Fort Meade, Maryland and he was reared in the Maryland/DC region. Rev. Jones attended Morehouse College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2006. After officially accepting his call into ministry, he relocated to Chicago, Illinois to attend McCormick Theological Seminary where he received his Masters of Divinity in 2011. Upon graduation, he returned back to Maryland and was appointed Young Adult Minister at Reid Temple AME (Glenn Dale, Maryland). In 2018, Rev Jones received his first appointment as pastor to Bethel A.M.E. Church, Centreville, Maryland and now serves as pastor to Fairview A.M.E. Church.
Rev. Jones desires to educate, empower and elevate the minds of everyone he comes in contact with. His motto is Romans 8:28, “and we know all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose".
Rev. Jones has always been a civic minded individual, as he has been a consistent volunteer with many community organizations. He is the proud father of a beautiful daughter, Kennedy Noelle.
