Wisdom is a shelter
 as money is a shelter,
but the advantage of knowledge is this:
Wisdom preserves those who have it.

Ecclesiastes 7:12

This service is dedicated to the men and women that attended and served historically black schools in Harford County such as Fairview.  Many students later attended Bel Air Colored High School which opened in 1935. Bel Air was one of 2 high schools for “colored” students.

Our afternoon speaker will be

Kelle’ Avent.  She serves as Executive Producer and Co-Host on "Mornings with Mykel" live Monday through Friday (6 am to 10 am) on WEAA 88.9FM in Baltimore, MD. She is also a contributor on “Moving Forward Mondays” on Sirius XM and host of Kelle’ In The Midday on Kiss 101.7 FM. She also produces The Journalogues -- an opportunity for women to share their truths in a safe and faith filled environment. It has been viewed as a night at the theatre meets reality, transparency and strength. Minister Avent also provides daily inspiration via https://soundcloud.com/fresh-fiya-with-Kelle as well as a vendor for faith based inspirational tee shirts.
