Breast Cancer Awareness

Every October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), a national campaign to raise awareness for this cause. Breast cancer awareness month is a yearly campaign that intends to educate people about the importance of early screening, testing, supporting survivors, and more.

We also want to salute the survivors and honor those lost to breast cancer. There is still critical work to be done. This year’s BCAM theme focuses on buddying up with one another because no one should fight cancer alone.

Our household can personally relate to the theme. Because the need to support BCAM is personal with us, we can give testimony to experiencing the gift of having a breast cancer survivor who overcame obstacles and is still standing strong to this day. All praises belong to God for His grace and mercy toward us.

In our journey and our walk and talk with God, He placed in our path many dedicated health professionals, a host of family and friend prayer warriors, and other extraordinary faith builders who shared their love in numerous ways.

As we stated earlier, there is still critical work to be done in the urgent need to eradicate breast cancer. We encourage each person to join the BCAM campaign in the community you decide to make your voice heard-- local/state/national –you are needed.
